Malvasia Colli Piacentini D.O.C. (denominazione di origine controllata / controlled denomination of origin) is a production localized on the hills near Piacenza, the last town in Emilia Romagna region, close to Lombardy. The grape used, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, is a local variety of the big and ancient family of Malvasia. This grape gives a unique aromatic smooth taste and an intense gold yellow.
